About Us

CYPSA was created as a result of the union of the professionals supporting Astilleros Celaya in the construction of Sail Training Ships, especially in the construction of GUAYAS, SIMON BOLIVAR, CUAUTHEMOC and CORWITH CRAMER and yachts as QUEEN NEFERTITI, which at the time was the private schooner with biggest furling sails in the world; vessels that marked a bright era and brought world fame to the shipyard.

CYPSA has been key part in flagship projects such as the Spanish Challenge to the America's Cup, that we were responsible for the technical and operative areas from 1994 to 2000, and the construction of the PEGASO yacht which with its 73 m is the largest built in Spain.

CYPSA has a strong presence overseas, with agreements with shipyards all over the world and active presence in countries as diverse as China, Peru, Mauritanian, etc.

All the professionals who work at CYPSA have a high qualification and specialization, with years of experience in production in shipyards, which translates into reliable construction solutions.

Our involvement in R&D projects allows us to be abreast of the latest technologies and the most important industry forums, actively collaborating with research centers such as the El Pardo Tank Testing (CEHIPAR) and the National Institute of Aerospatiale Technology (INTA).
